About the Craftsman
Based in the Pacific Northwest, I come from a long line of craftsmen in wood and metal originating in Bavaria, Germany. I have continued that tradition by making custom, handcrafted furniture.
In addition to free-standing furniture, I can install crown moulding, make and install raised panels and beams for walls/ceilings, built-in cabinets and libraries, glazed transoms, built-in or attached mantels to match a room's decor, and fascia for living rooms and kitchens.
I can produce furniture in a number of styles including Italian, Spanish, Brazilian, Georgian, rustic, and modern.
In today's world it is hard to find furniture that is not made of a cheap fiberboard covered by a veneer. I make furniture from real wood such as: alder, ash, aspen, basswood, beech, birch, butternut, cherry, cypress, elm, hickory, laurel, mahogany, maple, oak, pecan, poplar, redwood, rosewood, satinwood, spruce, teak, and walnut, as well as exotic woods such as ebony, Singapore Tiger's Eye and Brazilian cherry.
